space for the mind
Only a smart guy can stay in the here-and-now in the view of the Critical Home of the Raygun Gothic Rocketship.
We are going on the journey into outer space. Here is a doubt, not for a second. We catch up with Kirk and Spock in their Enterpris. Just as Star Trek on a peaceful mission. The spaceship is cone-shaped and the fins, but no arms.
There is nothing that detracts from the story. It’s on you to imagine what it's like to enter the vessel, to go out with the crew, to experience adventures. Still, always Good at Home, but only the shape, and the fins are visible.
I forget the dream on the inside of the artwork by looking at the gauges, handles and knobs. Then the object is to concrete for me to create stories. I'll leave the writing of an essay to another, to someone who is more interested in the concrete interior than the speculative outside of Critical Kitsch.

Vertaling
