The abstract sculpture Soukoli (Wheelwork in English) is placed in the eastern vestibule of Palmovka underground station (visit link) in Prague - Liben. Designer and sculptor Alexius Appl created for architecture strongly geometrized and abstract interior accessories and lighting objects, such as our sculptural solutions for metro station Radlická and Palmovka 1987 or illuminants for Kolovrat Palace in Prague in 1988 or for settlements South City in 1971 .
In addition to the implementation of the architecture is primarily devoted to designing utility objects. Among the most famous, implemented a series produced in industry and recorded in the 70s and 80s considerable success among children jumping horse, pliers"segerovky" surgical instruments, seats for lift etc. for railroad suggested a number of creative solutions implemented bodywork transport and industrial machines. By 2012 he was head of the studio Alexius Appl Product Design at the Faculty of Art and Design at JA Purkyně.
