Hoe verloopt abstraheren?

How’s abstracting?
What would Albert Dekkers have thought and felt by while making Boom? What would an artist feel while creating an abstract piece of art?
In my gives abstracting peace of mind. I would have the pleasant feeling to have everything under control, I have. A tree is not a impracticable form but is a complex shape made from the available components.
We go along: what does abstracting mean? I think it is about making choices: the branch and a leaf is a cube. With white forms we make the variegation in grey-tones because of their shadows.
The making of choices is exciting; each choose of the tree, the trunk, the branches, the leaves is thrilling. Can I keep it up? Suddenly, the tension disappears because the good end is in sight. Then Then the fulfillment comes of an artwork which works, which fascinates.
At many artworks the process of creatistops. The excitement, the joy, the appreciation, the fascination, the interest is there not any more. The object became a thing but is not an artwork.
It is also possible that the process changes. The cubes make a variety of shades. What wil happen when parallelogrammen are added? Yeah, this is good: the bottom of the forms will bring even more shades. This dynamic is caused by the lines at an angle from the trunk. The tree begins to grow.
Hopefully Albert Dekkers had tension, surprise and satisfaction during the making of Boom.
