Translation:
The Cup may be understood in this composition, as a baptismal font. In connection with the attitude of the woman who has laid their hands on the abdomen, suggests the theme of "fertility", "love" also in the sense that the Couple appears to be floating.
Sabina Grzimek worked from 1976 to 1981, this group, in 1975 and 1979, were born in their two children. The group is most likely to be understood prior to the biographical Background. Sabina Grzimek, a daughter of the sculptor Waldemar Grzimek (gest. 1984), is an award-winning, Berlin-employed artist, whose works are also in a prominent place in the public space.
The group is, however, in the composition of the elements is very uneven and design incoherent.
The two figures are mounted on two small mitgegossenen sockets almost floating. The woman lies on her back, she is naked, bent the legs and the hands on the belly. The hair is standing in a strange-looking hairstyle from the head. The man on the right is based next to her, lying on the side, and also unclothed. He looks over in the direction of the fountain.
The bronzes have an eventful, for Sabina Grzimek typical surface. The figures are slightly abstracted. To the left of the concrete base is made with a concrete slab is provided with the fountain chamber of the left side of the "Past Few" the fountain.
On a compressed oval-shaped feet of the oval Cup with knobs and abstract relief images (possibly tree and two figures seated under a cloud) rests in the appearance of a wine Cup.
The Bronze green patina addresses. In the centre of the fountain's basin, a water outlet, the helmet is formed like the water leaves the nozzle at the top, and thanks to irregularly to the Central spine is arranged in the holes in the side and dripping into the pool.
In the middle of the beer garden with its old chestnut trees, lime trees and plane trees, the sculpture "Reclining Couple on a rectangular concrete base".
